ICON 61550 4-Link Radius Arm Replacement 11-16 Ford SuperDuty
The factory radius arm design of the current Ford SuperDuty's can lend itself to many issues. The first main issues that arise from this design are driver vs. passenger side dependence of each other. What this means is that if you hit a bump only on one side of the vehicle, that deflection will effect the handling of the other side of the vehicle dramatically. The other main issue with the radius arm design is that of axle roll. An example of axle roll is the tendency of the vehicle to dive to one side or the other under hard braking scenarios, or really anything that cycles the suspension.
Icon Vehicle Dynamics has engineered a custom four link kit that will alleviate the issues of the factory radius arm with a unique kit that will work with most suspension systems, or you can go with a complete system from Icon.
