Many owners of 6.0L's are experiencing leaking of the ball tube o-ring, which seals the high pressure oil (ICP) inside the oil rail. These leaks can cause hard or no start conditions when the engine is up to operating temperature. Also, wear or damage to the ball tube injector seal ring area can cause oil leakage and failure of the injector high pressure oil inlet seal ring.

We offer the Dipaco Oil Rail Ball Tube Kit which allows for replacement of individual ball tubes and o-rings instead of replacing the entire oil manifold. The ball tube kit includes the ball tube and o-ring. The installation tool is needed for the removal and installation of the oil rail ball tube. It is recommended that new ball tube kits be installed when the injectors are replaced in older or high mileage applications.
