Adding a large capacity transmission pan is a simple yet effective way to add longevity to your Powerstroke's transmission. The AFE Power Deep Transmission pan not only adds approximately 6 additional quarts, but also includes built-in external and internal fins to transfer heat from the oil to the outside air for maximum cooling. One of the biggest complaints when servicing your transmission fluid is the fact that the factory transmission pan does not include a drain plug. This makes a huge mess when trying to change your transmission filter. The AFE can incorporates a magnetic drain plug to make servicing much cleaner and easier. This transmission pan also includes a 1/8th inch NPT port for easy installation of a transmission temperature sensor.
