For a factory transmission, the 6R140 is a relatively strong transmission. However, with engine tuning having the capability to add a massive amount of horsepower and torque to the 6.7L Powerstroke, even the stout 6R140 needs some help. The BD Power 6R140 Interlocking Pressure Plate Kit is the same kit that gets installed in all of BD's performance 6R140 transmission packages and will increase clutch holding power of your transmission without sacrificing part strength.

This kit contains 3 sets of patented interlocking plates with new snap rings and drawings and instructions to machine your own apply pistons. This kit is more for the seasoned transmission specialist due to the machine work that needs to be done.
FULL KIT:
This kit contains 3 sets of patented interlocking plates with new snap rings, 2 machined apply pistons, and increased number of frictions and steels for the 3 affected clutch packs only. This kit is more for the do-it-yourself type of truck owner. No machining is required making this more of a drop in kit.
