Calibrated Power Stealth Mach 2 67 Drop-In Turbo 17-23 GM 6.6L Duramax L5P
When looking to upgrade the performance of your L5P Duramax, wouldn't you prefer something that installs easily AND delivers the power you're after? In some instances, you can't have your cake and eat it too, but in the case of turbo upgrades, you can with the Stealth 67G2! This turbo outflows the factory charger by 35% and can support up to an enormous 650 rear wheel horsepower with all factory emissions intact. The crown jewel of this turbo is a custom 11 blade compressor wheel that delivers a wide efficiency range and can flow 81 pounds per minute of mass airflow compared to the stock unit that only flows 60 pounds. It is built from light weight, yet strong, billet aluminum and will aid in reducing or even eliminating turbo surge when towing. On the opposite end of the turbo, the turbine wheel has been upgraded to a 10 blade to deliver a distinctive sound and provide better efficiency to reduce exhaust gas temperatures (EGT's) and reduce drive pressure when under load.
In order to properly match the entire turbo, a custom vane/nozzle ring assembly was built in-house at DuramaxTuner. This upgraded design features taller and wider vanes to match the larger turbine which provides superior high-load efficiency, yet still retains the factory exhaust brake and exclusive throttle response. Finally, this is built from a brand new turbo and electronics(optional), meaning no core charge, and has been pre-calibrated if purchased with actuator with no custom tuning required!
