Each kit includes one upper and one lower ball joint per side, designed to restore tight steering, eliminate front-end looseness, and deliver long-term reliability. The forged 1045 steel housings and 4140 Chromoly studs offer unmatched durability, while Apex’s advanced bearing designs ensure smooth articulation and zero slop under load.
The upper joint features Apex’s carbon bearing design, proven in Jeep and Dodge applications to eliminate wobble and maintain precise control, while the lower joint uses a military-grade acetal bearing system, the same material specified for U.S. military Humvee ball joints. Together, they create a balanced front suspension setup that performs equally well on the highway or the job site.

HOUSING

BALL STUDS
- SAE 4140 Hot Forged Chromoly Ball Studs: For the strongest possible metallurgy.
- Induction Heat Treated Ball Studs: Provides a very precise heat treatment to the exact depth and location we want it.
- LOWER: Polished Ball Studs: Built like an anti-friction bearing with extremely precise tolerances.
- Rolled Threads: Made by pressing the shape of the threads into the ball stud instead of cutting. This strengthens the threads instead of weakening them and allows for easy movement of hardware. This ain't no Ikea furniture!
- Step Threads: Allows for very easy movement of hardware on install and superior holding when torqued (installer choice).
