The 1.0 A/R housing is the best option for the more performance enthusiast as its intended to cool your EGT's above 3000 RPM's, where as the 0.84 A/R housing is best suited for daily drivers or dedicated tow rigs to provide a quicker spool and cooled EGT's below 3000 RPM's.
